Islamabad: Students of Islamic International Medical College, Riphah International University won a national level grand quiz on Alzheimer’s (Healthy Life Style reduces the risk of Dementia), says a press release.
A team of students of MBBS comprising of Ali Afzal 4th year, Noureen Khan 4th year, Ariba Ahmed 2nd year, Sara Khan 2nd year, Summon Basharat 2nd year were declared winners in the completion. The quiz was organized by Alzheimer Association Pakistan and was held at Hospitality Inn Lahore on 29th September, 2016. Teams from 13 medical colleges including teams from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore, Rawalpindi Medical College, Rawalpindi, Khyber Medical College, Peshawar and others participated in the grand quiz.
Chancellor Hassan Muhammad Khan, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmed, Principal IIMC Maj. Gen. (r) Masood Anwar and Vice Principal IIMC Brig. Maqsood-ul-Hassan congratulated the students on this great achievement. Riphah is aimed to impart high quality education under Islamic ethical values.
