Female Students Of Riphah University Wins Best Women, Ambassador Award

A team of female students from Faculty of Computing of Riphah International University (WISH Campus) Islamabad has won Best Women and Ambassador Award in CREAT’17 event, held at Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS). CREATE is an entrepreneurship competition series run by Business Incubation Center (BIC) in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) and PIEAS, a news release Wednesday said.

CREATE 17 was the fourth chapter in the series of entrepreneurial development. Its purpose is to provide a platform for young students to build and implement innovation while maintaining a real-world entrepreneurial environment where startups can attract potential investors, incubators and venture capital firms. Riphah Students Kianat Khalid, Asma Malik, and Amna Shehzadi won “Best Women Entrepreneurship Award”, while Nayyab Nazir won “50 per cent Entrepreneurship” offered by Lt Col Fuad Hanif (Retd) Managing Director of “The Fortune Pakistan” magazine.

FC WISH faculty member Huma Pervez, have been awarded “Best Ambassador” by the organizing committee of the event. Vice-Chancellor of Riphah International University Prof Dr Anis Ahmad congratulated the students on this achievement and appreciated the efforts of faculty for their guidance to young students to participate in these creative events. He said these achievements will bring confidence and motivation to our young students to further participate in national and International Events.
