Alves earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her doctorate of dental medicine from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and the Hispanic Dental Association. Mahmood earned a bachelor’s degree from Riphah International University, Islamabad, Pakistan and her doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida District Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
